The challenge and how we faced it

One of our clients were finding access to Public Sector frameworks prohibitive. One of the obstacles they faced was the need to achieve Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus. We had already worked with them on their ISO27001 accreditation and both parties discussed a way forward.

We identified areas where network security needed tightening and implemented policies and procedures to help this. We also reviewed existing firewalls, antivirus, web and email security and decided on a more joined up approach. This meant making more use of Cloud security which allowed us to monitor and patch devices that were rarely in the office.

The result was they achieved this status due to a very secure network and we are pleased to report they now have several public sector contracts with various Government and Healthcare agencies.
